For couples wanting a distinctive, elegant wedding video that is both cinematic and documentary, then Halaja Productions may be just for you. In order to meet our demanding expectations for you, we use state of the art professional high definition cameras, microphones, non-linear editing systems, we work closely with you both before and after the wedding day, and Nancy and I always film as a team. Filming as a team allows us to capture every minute of your ceremony and reception from different, complimentary vantages, using documentary and cinematic filming techniques. We film creative, artistic shots without comprising the quality of the video as a whole and we use advanced editing techniques to produce every wedding video. Your cinematic highlights video, set to music of your choice, will be showcased on a private Internet link for you to share with friends and family. Your DVD(s) will include a documentary style presentation of your ceremony, reception, and other events, as well as a cinematic highlights video using music of your choice. Our standard services also include menus, titles, chapters, and credits. Encased in a beautifully customized, leather heirloom case, your video can be safely stored for years to come.

3 DVD sets in customized, leather heirloom DVD cases

Because we are creating a documentary of your wedding, we do not limit the length of your video, nor do we limit the number of DVDs in your video set. Typically, a 6 hour wedding will fit onto 2 DVDs. A multi-day Indian wedding video set is often comprised of 3-4 DVDs or more.

If our Standard Services are not quite what you are looking for, we are happy to customize a video package for you. All quotes are provided up-front, although you may add these additional features any time before filming begins.

There are no hidden costs.

Blu-Ray. Enjoy your video in the crisp detail that only high definition Blu-Ray can provide.

  Additional Cameras

  Same Day Edit:   Footage from your ceremony may be shown at your reception.

  Glide-Cam:   2 hour limit. The Glide-Cam is a support for the camera that allows cinematic-smooth quality while the camera is in motion. This can provide dramatic, cinematic style scenes. The Glide-Cam is also useful during Baraats and other events where the action is moving.

Crane: The crane is a support for the camera that allows vertical and horizontal movement. The crane is great for adding dramatic scenes and is a good feature for those looking for a more cinematic presentation of their wedding.

  Cinematic Keepsake Movie: We will use all our resources to produce a Hollywood or Bollywood style mini-movie in which you are the star.

   Love Story:     This enhanced music video uses footage from your wedding or engagement video shoot, your own photographs and videos, and intimate interviews to chronicle how you met, your journey to the alter, and your feelings for each other. This special video is as poignant as it is personal.

  Photo Montage DVD with up to 60 pictures and/or  video clips:   The Photo Montage DVD can be shown at the reception if the pictures and video clips are given to us within 14 days of the wedding.

Interviews:    Guests may discretely be given the opportunity to say a few words to you. Guests are never forced to participate nor made to feel uncomfortable if they choose not to speak to the camera.
